A new report conducted by uKnowKids is warning parents to beware the increasing amount of cyber bullying cases between young children. It also warns parents that most children do not tell their parents about cyber bullying. Community Outreach Manager Tyler O’Rourke stated, “97% of middle school children have been bullied online and only 10% reported the abuse to their parents.”
uKnowKids offers free resources to parents and educators to prevent cyber bullying. They hope that studies including the one just conducted will let parents know that they need to prevent cyber bullying from spreading further.
