Star of the British television show Geordie Shore, Holly Hagan has revealed how she became a recluse after cyber bullies urged her to kill herself. The reality star claimed to have been at her lowest point during the first series of the MTV show, when she was repeatedly called “fat and ugly” by online abusers. “During series one I had people telling me I should kill myself because I’m fat and ugly,” she told Now Magazine. And while the 20-year-old may come across as confident and feisty on the show, she admits that she was really affected by the harsh comments. “There were times when I wouldn’t come out of my room for a week. I would literally lock the door and refuse to speak to anybody. I phoned MTV and said I couldn’t physically sit on a train down to London. I’d never been that low in my life.”
