On May 9th, 2013, there will be a free workshop at the University of Arkansas at Monticello to educate parents on the dangers of cyberbullying. This workshop will be presented by Bryan Fendley, the director of academic computing at UAM, who claims that most people are unaware of the dangers of cyberbullying. Fendley says that over half of all teens will either be victims or perpetrators of online bullying during their adolescent years. Since 85% of kids won’t tell anyone about cyberbullying, Fendley believes it is important for parents to be able to recognize it.
