Taiwanese pop singer and actress Vivian Hsu expressed her anger towards cyber bullying by Chinese Netizens from Tianya Club, a popular Internet forum in Mainland China, after an anonymous person tried to pretend to be her and posted outrageous comments in the said Internet forum. The anonymous person posted a comment which claimed to be written by “VIVIAN”. China Netizens who believed the user to be her were outraged by the comment that was posted online reading: “I’m not Chinese. I’m Taiwanese. I don’t want to develop my career in China. No matter what the results are, I will focus my career in Japan. I will not visit China anymore.”
Soon after the real Vivian got word on the matter, she deleted all her Weibo posts and expressed her anger towards cyber bullying by posting the following words on her official Weibo page: “No matter who you are, and what purpose you have. You misused my name to publish irresponsible and false statements. I hope Sina (Weibo’s developer) will bring me justice.”
