Police officers have launched a project to help young people affected by cyber bullying. Shane Lottering and Phil Morrison attended JFS School in Kingsbury where they showed pupils a presentation on how to combat the issue. This project gives students the tools to effectively challenge cyber bullying and hopefully encourage future victims to seek help.

Their research showed that nearly half of all students are affected by cyber bullying at some point in their education and 74 per cent of those students do not seek help. Lottering said: “We felt that it went really well and I believe that it was a big eye opener as the majority of them had not thought about the criminal element of cyber bullying before now.
