Grace’s Law, which passed last year, makes it a misdemeanor to bully children through social media. The law was named after Grace McComas, a teenage girl who took her life after she was cyberbullied.

Currently, the law only applies to children. However, on Tuesday, Jon S. Cardin, a state delegate and a Democrat running for attorney general, testified before the House Judiciary Committee to expand the law to include adults as well.
