In Great Britain, a new agency has been implemented that would be able to help people get the support they need to quickly stop cyberbullying. There are proposals to implement new laws to fight against cyberbullying.
“Our new anti-cyberbullying proposals protect victims and hold perpetrators to account, sending a clear message to cyberbullies – their behavior must stop,” Justice Minister Judith Collins said. The British government hopes to replace the old and outdated laws that need to be updated so that victims of the new wave of cyberbullying would not have to suffer as much. The new bill that would concern cyberbullying would be introduced to Parliament later this year.
