The new Floridian bill discussed on April 25th has just cleared the Florida Senate today and is heading to Governor Rick Scott. The bill was passed in a 37-0 vote and it was passed in the House earlier.
The new bill gives schools the authority to discipline students who cyberbully others in school, at sites of school-sanctioned events, and on school buses. It also helps to define cyberbullying as “harassment through the use of computers, technology, or electronic communications.”
