Although a recent law made online harassment of teachers a criminal offense, CMS has still not charged any of its students for online harassment.
The new law was put in place to protect teachers from incidences of identity theft and more serious forms of harassment. According to CMS though, none of the situations encountered went that far as in level. There have been mean things posted on a picture of the teacher being attacked, but not much more.
